What is the definition of Voted Project?

A 'voted project' is like when the masses collectively decide on a whim, but instead of pizza or movies, it's usually something that makes our collective brain go 'eriously, why?' Like when a group of zealots in a town unanimously voted to build a giant robot that can play Dungeons & Dragons while serving as a makeshift garbage disposal.
